The REX Agency
Rebrand The REX Agency, an award-winning brand strategy, marketing & design agency based in Port Moody, BC. The chosen “Science + Magic” stylescape direction guided the development of the final visual language. The corporate colour palette draws inspiration from a monochromatic art gallery, with the agency’s portfolio serving as its artwork. A vibrant red and green are used minimally, primarily for CTA buttons, infographics and presentations call-outs. The use of grainy black-and-white photography gives a casual, spontaneous, and approachable feel. The “element” nature photography captures a quiet beauty, enhancing presentations, highlighted web sections, and testimonials. The typography is elegant and classic, featuring a whimsical serif font. Technical and chalk Illustrations and a handwritten text contribute to the brand’s uninhibited and intentional aesthetic.

Upon completing the agency rebrand, I continued collaborating with REX part-time. I delivered comprehensive solutions for REX's clients across various industries, including trades, technology, hospitality, healthcare, and beauty. My work includes website designs, digital advertising, presentations, marketing campaigns, uniforms, signage, print materials, and tradeshow displays. I also provided art direction and leadership to the internal creative team and contract designers to ensure cohesive and impactful branding across all projects from conception to delivery.
